Furthermore, the only method for filing campaign finance reports is through the Registry's election finance management system, which is provided free of charge to all candidates. 3rd parties do not have the ability to download your records directly into the Registry's filing system, regardless of what they might claim. Using 3rd party vendors for this purpose will result in errors in your reports. DO NOT SHARE YOUR LOG IN INFORMATION WITH 3rd PARTIES!
Any questions regarding the application of Kentucky's campaign finance law or the filing of campaign finance reports should be directed to the Registry. DO NOT RELY ON 3rd PARTIES. The Registry's staff is here to assist you and answer all questions.
New LegislationHB 595 from the 2024 session of the General Assembly was signed into law by Governor Beshear on April 5. The bill makes a number of changes to KRS Chapter 121, Kentucky's campaign finance law. These changes will go into effect July 14, 2024, with one change going into effect upon the Governor signing the bill.
