This includes candidate Notices of Intent as well as Political Organization Registrations. ATTENTION - Delinquent FilersPursuant to KRS 121.120(6)(i), if any candidate, slate of candidates, committee, or contributing organization does not submit the required campaign finance reports electronically by the applicable filing deadline, and are therefore in violation of campaign finance law, the Registry shall publish the candidate, slate of candidates, committee, or contributing organization's name as a delinquent filer until such time as the campaign finance report is properly filed.

All policy and enforcement decisions concerning the regulation of campaign finance is the ultimate responsibility of the Registry.
Furthermore, the only method for filing campaign finance reports is through the Registry's election finance management system, which is provided free of charge to all candidates. 3rd parties do not have the ability to download your records directly into the Registry's filing system, regardless of what they might claim. Using 3rd party vendors for this purpose will result in errors in your reports. DO NOT SHARE YOUR LOG IN INFORMATION WITH 3rd PARTIES!
Any questions regarding the application of Kentucky's campaign finance law or the filing of campaign finance reports should be directed to the Registry. DO NOT RELY ON 3rd PARTIES. The Registry's staff is here to assist you and answer all questions.
NOTICE - Administrative Regulation FilingThe Registry has filed administrative regulations with the LRC. A summary of those regulations, including the numbers, titles, and changes to be made, may be found here: Proposed Amended Regulations and Proposed Amended Regulation.
Written comments may be submitted to Leslie Saunders, General Counsel, Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, 140 Walnut Street, Frankfort, KY 40601 through July 31, 2026. A public hearing will be held July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the same location. Notification of attending the public hearing should be mailed to the General Counsel at the same address. Comments and notifications may also be faxed to 502-573-5622 or emailed to LeslieM.Saunders@ky.gov.
