Important Information on IRS Disclosure Requirements Which May Apply to Political Organizations

At the request of the Director of Customer Education on Outreach-Exempt Organizations, of the Internal Revenue Service, we are providing a link to important information to persons or political organizations (including political party committees, permanent committees (PACs) and federal, state and local candidate committees) that may benefit from the Internal Revenue Service's voluntary program to promote disclosure for political organizations.  This voluntary compliance program is an attempt to clarify filing requirements for political organizations, raise awareness about disclosure laws, and promote minimum disclosure to the public.
